Bilt Hamber Interface Adhesion Promoter

Interface is an adhesion promoter from Bilt Hamber that adds a chemically active layer on difficult polymer substrates. Standard paint systems don't bond well enough to plastic or polymer materials commonly used in modern bodywork, and although the coating may seem to bond well at first, the plasticizers in the polymer lose their grip over time, causing the coating to fail. Interface gives strong adhesion with a short 15-minute cure time, so you can move on to the next layer quickly. Always test the compatibility of your paint system first. Remove old coating and finishes and degrease the surface thoroughly. Shake the can well before use and spray from 15 to 25cm away from the part.

How to use

1. Test the compatibility of your paint system on a small, inconspicuous area first (This avoids surprises on the visible panel later)

2. Remove old coating and finishes down to the bare material (Work down to a clean, dust-free surface)

3. Degrease the surface thoroughly and shake the can well before use (Grease and dust reduce Interface's adhesion considerably)

4. Spray from 15 to 25cm away from the part in a thin layer (Let it cure for 15 minutes before continuing to the next step)

Degrease the plastic part first with Shiny Garage Red Devil degreaser before spraying Interface.
