The MoTip Matt Black Spray Can (RAL 9005) is a fast-drying acrylic lacquer in a convenient 500 ml aerosol. RAL 9005 is the standard colour code for matt black, widely used for bumpers, roof trim, wheel bolts and interior accents on cars. The formula bonds to metal, plastic, wood and glass, making it a versatile single-can solution across different materials. The lacquer is UV-resistant and withstands petrol and chemicals, so the matt finish holds up outdoors. No primer is required on already painted or well-sanded surfaces.

How to use

1. Shake the can for at least 2 minutes (The ball bearing inside should be clearly audible. Continue shaking during breaks on larger jobs.)

2. Clean and degrease the surface (Remove dust, grease and silicone. Lightly sand rough or damaged surfaces for better adhesion.)

3. Spray in thin coats from 25-30 cm (Use a smooth, overlapping motion. Allow each coat to flash off before the next. Spray at temperatures above 10°C when possible.)

Pair with Fine Line masking tape for crisp edges, Liqui Moly Wax Undercarriage Protection for adjacent underbody parts, and Teroson White Spirit for degreasing before application.
