Tornador PH21 Dual Action Polisher 21mm

The Tornador PH21 is an electric dual action polisher with a 21mm orbit and a 150mm backing plate, built for serious polishing work on larger surfaces. The 6-speed dial lets you match the RPM precisely to your pad, polish and stage, from compounding through to finishing. Thanks to the soft start, the tool ramps up gently the moment you pull the trigger, so the pad does not jump across the paint. With speeds up to 4,200 RPM and 500/1200W of power, the PH21 brings enough force to tackle harder clear coats or heavier correction work. At 2.6 kg the tool gives a stable, controlled feel across the panel, while the 10 metre cable lets you move freely around the car without an extension lead. The 21mm orbit makes the PH21 suited to fast, effective work on doors, bonnets and other larger surfaces. Ideal if you are stepping up from the LD 30 or TA 50 to a full size polisher for whole panel work.

How to use

1. Fit a polishing pad suited to the stage (cutting, polishing or finishing). (Choose a more aggressive pad for cutting and a softer pad for finishing.)

2. Apply polish to the pad and start the tool on the lowest speed. (Spread the polish evenly across the pad before switching the tool on.)

3. Increase the speed gradually and work in overlapping passes across the panel.

4. Wipe off excess polish and check the result before moving to the next stage. (Repeat the stage again if needed before moving on.)

Pair the PH21 with a Lake Country CCS orange polishing pad and Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 1000 for serious correction work.
