Tornador PH15 Dual Action Polisher 15mm

The Tornador PH15 is an electric dual action polisher with a 15mm orbit and a 125mm backing plate, built for precise polishing where a bit more control matters than on a full size 150mm machine. The 6-speed dial lets you match the RPM to your pad, polish and stage, from compounding through to the final finishing pass. Thanks to the soft start, the tool ramps up gently, so the pad does not jump the moment you pull the trigger. With speeds up to 4,800 RPM and 900W of power, the PH15 delivers enough force for efficient polishing, while the smaller plate sits a little better in the hand on curved panels and narrower sections. At 2.6 kg the tool gives a stable, controlled feel across the paint, and the 10 metre cable lets you move freely around the car without an extension lead. The PH15 suits anyone who regularly works both larger panels and smaller, detailed spots and does not want to keep swapping tools.

How to use

1. Fit a polishing pad suited to the stage (cutting, polishing or finishing). (Choose a more aggressive pad for cutting and a softer pad for finishing.)

2. Apply polish to the pad and start the tool on the lowest speed. (Spread the polish evenly across the pad before switching the tool on.)

3. Increase the speed gradually and work in overlapping passes across the surface.

4. Wipe off excess polish and check the result before moving to the next stage. (Repeat the stage again if needed before moving on.)
