Rupes Swirl Finder Pen Light

This inspection light from Rupes reveals swirls, scratches, holograms and other paint imperfections that are easy to miss under normal garage lighting. With 140 lumens and a light spectrum tuned for paint inspection, you can see exactly where more polishing is needed and where the finish is already clean.

The pen light is small, lightweight and fits in a shirt or jacket pocket thanks to its clip. It runs one handed with the push button tail cap switch, and the focus is adjustable so you can inspect both up close and across a wider panel.

How to use

1. Switch the light on with the push button in the tail cap. (This keeps your other hand free to hold the panel steady.)

2. Hold the light at a low angle over the paint.

3. Adjust the focus until swirls and scratches become clearly visible.

4. Check again after every polishing step to track your progress. (This way you see right away whether the swirl is actually gone or another pass is needed.)
