The Mirka Glass Polishing Kit is a complete package for professionally polishing normal automotive glass and tempered glass. Without the right combination of machine, abrasives and polish, you're left with scratches, wiper marks and mineral deposits that cloud visibility. This set is built around the Mirka PS1437 polisher, robust and ergonomically built for precise, efficient polishing work from start to finish. The included 125mm polishing pad with 17 holes ensures even disc alignment and effective extraction through the supplied extraction hood, keeping the work area clean and safe while you polish. For removing scratches and leveling the surface the set includes a complete sanding system with Abranet SiC discs from P80 to P400, made from silicon carbide for precise cutting on glass. For the finish, Polarshine E3 is included, aimed at optimal clarity and a smooth, optical finish on the glass surface.

How to use

1. Clean the glass thoroughly and assess the depth of the scratches or contamination. (Work in a dust-free area with good lighting for an accurate assessment.)

2. Start with the coarsest Abranet SiC disc needed and work up step by step to finer grits, up to P400. (Keep the glass wet while sanding to avoid overheating.)

3. Fit the polishing pad on the PS1437 and polish the surface with Polarshine E3. (Work in overlapping passes with moderate pressure for an even result.)

4. Wipe off excess polish and check the glass clarity from different lighting angles. (Always wear safety glasses while sanding and polishing glass.)

Finish your result with a glass cloth and glass cleaner, and wear safety glasses while sanding glass.
