Rupes BigFoot LHR15 Mark III Polisher

The Rupes BigFoot LHR15 Mark III is the latest generation random orbital polisher from the Italian brand that has built precision tools since 1947. The 15mm orbit covers more surface than a conventional random orbital machine, letting you remove swirls, scratches and holograms faster and more evenly. Mark III brings improved ergonomics, an electronic speed dial and a soft trigger start compared to earlier versions. You hold the machine comfortably for longer, even on panels above shoulder height. This STD version is the bare machine, without pads or polish, ideal if you already have your own accessories or want to combine it with your preferred pads. The 15mm orbit sits between the smaller 12mm Duetto and the larger 21mm BigFoot in working range, making it suited to both smaller panel sections and larger flat surfaces like the hood and doors.

How to use

1. Mount a 5-6" backing plate matching the pad size you're using. (Preferably choose a Rupes backing plate for the best possible fit.)

2. Spread the polish over the pad before switching the machine on. (Four to six drops are usually enough per treated section.)

3. Start at low speed to spread it, then work up to speed 4-6. (Keep the machine flat on the panel and move steadily in passes.)

4. Work in overlapping passes per section and check the result along the way. (Wipe the pad clean regularly to prevent polish residue building up.)
