Rupes BigFoot Mille LK900E Gear Driven Polisher

The Rupes BigFoot Mille LK900E bridges the gap between a rotary polisher and a dual-action machine. The gear drive forces the pad into a clockwise rotation, reducing lateral movement and approaching the cutting power of a rotary machine while keeping dual-action safety intact. The variable speed control with click settings sits ergonomically positioned and works together with a soft trigger for extra control during use. Two rubber support feet keep the machine stable when you set it down on its back between treatments, and the 9-meter power cord gives you freedom of movement around the entire car without an extension cord. This machine is built for detailers who want the correction power of a rotary machine with less risk of paint damage. This STD version is the bare machine, without pads or polish.

How to use

1. Mount a suitable backing plate and choose a pad matching the correction level. (This STD version is the bare machine, so choose a backing plate and pad matching the desired correction level and order them separately.)

2. Apply compound or polish spread across the pad. (Spread the compound or polish evenly across the pad so it makes good contact right away once the forced rotation starts.)

3. Start at a low click setting to spread it, then increase gradually. (The variable speed control with click settings and the soft trigger give you control as you build up toward more cutting power.)

4. Work in overlapping passes and let the machine do the work, without extra pressure. (Thanks to the gear drive, the machine approaches rotary-level cutting power while the dual-action motion keeps paint burn risk lower.)

Combine with a Chemical Guys heavy cutting pad and Koch Chemie compound for heavy correction.
