Rupes Duetto LHR12E LUX Deluxe Kit Polisher

The Rupes Duetto LHR12E LUX is a complete polishing kit built around the well-known LHR12E Mark 3, designed for tricky shapes and small, complex panel sections. With a 125mm (5") pad size and 12mm orbit you correct paint with almost rotary-level cutting power, while keeping the safety of a dual-action motion. The soft-start speed control prevents polish from slinging off at startup, and the electronic speed control keeps the RPM constant for an even result. This 14-piece LUX kit includes, alongside the machine, a 5" backing plate, coarse and fine D-A polish, wool pads, foam pads, an abrasive starter kit, three microfiber towels, a cable tie, a BigFoot apron and a BigFoot tool bag. Everything you need to get started right away is included. Ideal for detailers working on location or doing focused spot treatments without buying a full set of loose accessories.

How to use

1. Choose the wool COARSE pad for heavy correction or the foam pad for a finer finish. (The wool pad (Ø130-145mm) is for deep scratches and oxidation, the foam pad (Ø130-150mm) for light swirls and the final polishing pass.)

2. Apply 3-4 drops of D-A polish spread across the whole pad, not just the center. (Too much product causes splatter against the paint, too little leaves the pad running dry and increases friction.)

3. Start at low speed to spread the product evenly, then increase to speed 4-5. (Keep the machine flat on the panel and work with light, even pressure in overlapping passes.)

4. Work in overlapping passes per panel section and wipe down with a clean microfiber towel. (Check the result in direct light between passes to avoid over-polishing and holograms, especially with the foam pad.)

Extend the kit with a Chemical Guys backing plate and extra Koch Chemie polish for bigger jobs.
