Rupes Duetto LHR12E STD Polisher

The Rupes Duetto LHR12E STD is the bare machine from the Duetto series, built for tricky shapes and targeted paint correction. With a 12mm orbit you correct scratches and swirls with near-rotary cutting power, while retaining the safety of a dual-action motion. The compact size and low weight make it comfortable to hold during extended work in hard-to-reach spots. Anti-slip rubber inserts at the front give grip, even with wet hands. The power switch features a lock with a soft-start trigger, so you start up in a controlled way without slinging polish. This STD version ships as the machine only, without pads or polish, ideal if you already have accessories or want to expand selectively. Ideal for mirror housings, bumper edges and other small panel sections a large polisher can't reach well.

How to use

1. Mount a 5" backing plate and choose a pad matching the correction level. (Use a medium or firm pad for swirls, a COARSE pad for deeper scratches.)

2. Apply polish spread across the pad, not directly onto the paint. (Four to six drops are enough for a panel section of about 40 by 40 centimetres.)

3. Start at low speed to spread it out, then increase to speed 4-5. (Work with light pressure and let the machine do the work, not your arm.)

4. Work in overlapping passes and check the result regularly. (Wipe the pad clean with a microfiber towel between passes to prevent residue build-up.)

Combine with a Lake Country pad and Menzerna compound for a complete polishing setup.
