Mavel Major Plus 230V Cable Reel

The Mavel Major Plus is an automatic cable reel for the garage or workshop, with a spring mechanism that retracts the cable smoothly after use. The reel is available with 20 or 25 metres of working cable (3 x 2.5 mm², neoprene sheathing) and delivers up to 3500W when fully unwound, enough for a polisher, compressor or work light at the same time. The IP24 protection rating makes it splash-proof, so it also works in a garage where moisture is never far away. Thanks to the swivel wall bracket (180°), you mount the reel on a wall or ceiling and turn it to the direction you need. Built-in overheat protection and a childproof socket keep things safe, even under daily use in a professional workshop. The tough plastic housing holds an integrated guide roller, so the cable winds and unwinds smoothly without jumping, and a separate safety cutoff kicks in automatically during a fault or overload, keeping your equipment and connection protected during use.

How to use

1. Mount the wall bracket on a solid wall or ceiling, at eye height or just above for easy reach. (Use the included fixing points and check that the wall can bear the reel's weight.)

2. Pull the cable out to the length you need and lock it into one of the stop positions. (The reel has several stop positions, so you can lock the cable at exactly the length you need.)

3. Plug your equipment into the socket at the end of the cable. (Keep an eye on the maximum 3500W rating when connecting several devices at once.)

4. Let the cable retract slowly into the reel after use, so it doesn't snap back. (This protects the spring mechanism and guide roller from unnecessary wear.)
