The Leather Expert Leather Alcohol Cleaner is a targeted preparation cleaner for leather that you plan to paint, dye or retouch. Regular leather cleaners remove surface dirt but leave protective coatings, conditioners and grease residues intact. Those exact layers prevent paint from bonding correctly or cause dye to absorb unevenly. The Leather Alcohol Cleaner breaks down those layers and prepares the leather surface for proper paint adhesion. Suitable for automotive interiors, furniture leather and leather goods. Available in 50 ml for small repairs, 250 ml for regular workshop use, and 500 ml and 1 L for professional restoration specialists. The competitive price-to-quality ratio and broad application make the Leather Alcohol Cleaner a standard step in any serious leather repair set.

Test the product on a small, inconspicuous area of leather first (Apply a small amount to a hidden spot. Wait 2 minutes and check that color or texture has not changed.)
Apply the Leather Alcohol Cleaner to a clean applicator cloth (Use a clean white microfiber cloth. Apply to the cloth, not directly to the leather. Use 2-5 ml per treatment.)
Work in circular motions over the leather surface (Apply light pressure. Protective layers and grease transfer to the cloth. Switch to a fresh section when saturated. Repeat on stubborn areas.)
Allow the leather to dry completely before applying paint or dye (At room temperature the leather is ready after 5-15 minutes. The surface should look matte and even. Apply leather paint or Leather Expert Adhesion Promoter.)
Use the Leather Alcohol Cleaner as your first step, follow with the Leather Expert Leather Preparer for extra adhesion, apply leather paint or dye, and finish with the Leather Expert Leather Conditioner to keep the leather supple.
