The Leather Expert Strong Care Kit is a complete set for heavily or stubbornly soiled car leather. The kit holds a strong leather cleaner and a conditioner, plus a cleaning brush, sponge and microfiber cloth. You deep-clean the leather first and then feed it again, so greyed and grimy leather looks cared-for once more. You will find the Leather Expert Strong Care Kit in the shop.
What is in the kit
The Strong Care Kit combines two steps in one set. The strong cleaner tackles dirt that a mild cleaner leaves behind: ingrained skin oils, greying and years of build-up. The conditioner then feeds the cleaned leather again with natural oils and waxes. With the included brush, sponge and microfiber cloth you have the right tools right away. Leather Expert lists the kit as suitable for new and used leather in all colours.
Cleaning and feeding belong together: the strong cleaner removes the dirt, the Leather Expert Leather Conditioner from the kit brings back suppleness and colour depth. You will find more leather cleaners and care in the leather cleaning and care category.
How to use it
Deep-clean. Apply the strong cleaner with the brush and let it dwell for about thirty seconds so the dirt loosens.
Wipe off. Wipe the loosened dirt away with the microfiber cloth and repeat on very soiled spots.
Feed in circles. Apply the conditioner with the sponge in round motions and let it soak in for about five minutes.
Buff off. Wipe the excess away and buff with a clean cloth for an even, satin finish.
Which leather it suits
Leather Expert lists the Strong Care Kit as suitable for smooth, pigmented car leather in all colours, new and used. Do not use the kit on suede and nubuck. Because the cleaner is stronger, it is extra wise to test on a hidden spot first, certainly on light or delicate leather.
Tips for the best result
Work panel by panel. That keeps you in control and nothing dries where it should not.
Let the brush do the work. Gentle brushing lifts dirt out of the pores without damaging the leather.
Always feed afterwards. Strong cleaning degreases the leather; the conditioner brings the protection back.
Test when in doubt. On light or unknown leather, try a hidden spot first.
After a deep-cleaning session you keep the leather topped up with regular care. The complete picture of cleaning, conditioning and repairing is in the guide cleaning, conditioning and repairing leather.
