Koch Chemie NYC No Yellow Cleaner 1 L

The Koch Chemie NYC No Yellow Cleaner comes from the marine range of Koch Chemie and removes yellowing and yellowish algae in gelcoat, plastic and paint on your boat. You apply it with a pre-wash brush or sponge on the hull: foredeck zone, waterline, exhaust zone and transom. The effect is immediate, with no dwell time. You use it undiluted or diluted 1:4 with water. The neutral formulation (pH 7.5) does not attack plastic, stainless steel or aluminium. It also tackles algae, rust, soot in the exhaust zone and rust stains. Mind the limits: it does not work on yellowing caused by UV radiation, and it does not belong on galvanised surfaces or untreated wood. Always test material compatibility on a hidden spot first and use it only on washable surfaces. Then rinse with water or a neutral shampoo, and seal the cleaned gelcoat by polishing and sealing so it does not yellow again quickly.

How to use

1. Rinse the area and choose undiluted or 1:4 (Use the cleaner neat, or mix 1 part cleaner with 4 parts water in your wash bucket. Use only on washable surfaces that are not hot, and test on a hidden spot first.)

2. Apply the cleaner with a sponge or pre-wash brush (Work on the yellowed areas: foredeck zone, waterline, exhaust zone or transom. The effect is immediate. Do not let the cleaner dry.)

3. Rinse off with water or neutral shampoo (Rinse the cleaner off completely before it can dry. Check that the yellow film is gone.)

4. Polish and seal the surface (After thorough cleaning the pores of the gelcoat are open. Polish and seal them with a sealant or coating so it does not yellow again quickly.)
