D-CON Hexagon LED Lighting System incl. Frame

The D-CON Hexagon LED Lighting System is built to give a detail studio, workshop or garage even, true-color lighting. The honeycomb pattern of hexagon panels covers a surface of 2400 x 4800 mm and delivers 110 to 120 lumens per watt at a total power of 550 W for the complete set. With a CRI above 90 and a color temperature of 6500K daylight white, you spot swirls, paint defects and coating results more sharply than under standard fluorescent lighting. The panels are made from polycarbonate, keeping the whole system light and sturdy, and the included mounting frame makes ceiling installation straightforward. The system draws little power relative to its light output and gives off almost no heat, which suits extended use in an enclosed space. The even spread across the full panel surface avoids shadow spots when assessing paintwork, coatings and polishing results. For the final electrical connection, we recommend using a certified installer.

How to use

1. Mount the included 2400 x 4800 mm frame to the ceiling of your detail studio, workshop or garage. (Make sure the mounting is solid, since the complete system including panels has real weight to it.)

2. Fit the hexagon LED panels into the frame following the honeycomb pattern, so the whole surface forms one even light plane. (Work through the pattern systematically so no gaps are left in the coverage.)

3. Connect the panels to the mains; the complete set draws 550 W. (Always have the final electrical connection carried out by a certified installer.)

4. Use the even, true-color 6500K lighting with CRI above 90 to assess paint, coatings and polishing results. (The even spread across the full surface means you won't see shadow spots during inspection.)
