The Rupes BigFoot LH19E is the successor to the popular Bigfoot Mille line and takes rotary power a step further. Under the hood sits a powerful 1200 watt motor with high torque, so you remove deep scratches and oxidation quickly and under control. The machine has a soft start, letting you set your own pace with the trigger, so the pad never jumps forward unexpectedly on the paint surface. On top sits a softgrip anti-vibration handle, so you keep a solid grip during longer polishing sessions without tiring your hands or feeling that numbing vibration. A 9 meter power cable gives you full freedom of movement around the vehicle without an extension cord, ideal for larger surfaces such as campers and boats. Rotary polishing is the first step in paint correction for scratches, oxidation and weathered coating, after which a dual action polisher removes any swirl marks for a mirror finish. Thanks to the lower weight compared to previous generations, you keep control of the machine for longer, which makes the difference between an even and an uneven result on vertical panels and larger projects.
Rupes BigFoot LH19E STD rotary polisher with 9 meter power cable
1200 watt motor with high torque for fast material removal on deep scratches and oxidation
Soft start, so you build up speed yourself through the trigger without the pad jumping forward
Softgrip anti-vibration handle that absorbs vibration for comfortable use during long polishing sessions
9 meter power cable for full freedom of movement around the whole vehicle without an extension cord
Lower total weight than previous generations, so you keep control for longer and tire less quickly
Fit a suitable rotary pad and apply compound to the surface (Choose a wool pad for heavy correction or a foam pad for milder removal, depending on the paint condition.)
Start the machine at low speed and build up gradually with the trigger (This keeps the pad from jumping or flinging compound before you have control on the surface.)
Work in overlapping passes, keep the machine flat and moving (Keep the machine moving at all times to prevent local overheating and burning through the paint.)
Wipe off residue with a microfiber towel and check the result in direct light (This immediately shows any remaining scratches or holograms that need an extra polishing pass.)
Pair the LH19E with a rotary pad and heavy cut compound for the best result, and finish with a clean microfiber towel.
