Projecta IS1400 Professional Jump Starter 12V

The Projecta IS1400 is a professional 12V jump starter with LiFePO4 battery technology, lasting up to 4 times longer than conventional lithium batteries. With a clamp current of 500A and a peak current of 1400A, it starts petrol engines up to 7.0 litres and diesel engines up to 5.0 litres, even from a flat battery. Thanks to Rapid Recharge Technology, the booster is fully recharged within 40 seconds after starting, ready for the next job. The IP65 protection rating makes it dust and water resistant, ideal for use in the workshop or on the road. The colour LCD screen shows battery status and doubles as a voltmeter, while the built-in LED work light (180 lumen) lights your way in the dark. Beyond starting your engine, the IS1400 also works as a 16,000mAh USB power bank to charge your phone or other devices. Reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection and overheat protection keep both the booster and your vehicle safe.

How to use

1. Connect the red clamp to the battery's positive terminal and the black clamp to an unpainted metal point on the chassis. (Make sure both clamps are firmly attached before continuing, a loose clamp causes a poor connection and can make starting difficult.)

2. Switch on the IS1400 with the main switch and check the battery status on the LCD screen. (The colour LCD screen shows the battery status straight away, so you can see immediately if there's enough voltage to start the engine.)

3. Start the engine. Once it's running, disconnect the black clamp first, then the red one. (Recharge the IS1400 afterwards using the included USB charger. Thanks to Rapid Recharge Technology it's ready again within 40 seconds.)

Pair the IS1400 with an inspection light and work gloves for safe, clear working under the bonnet.
