Projecta IS1220 Jump Starter Powerbank 12V

With the Projecta IS1220 you start a stranded car within seconds, without hauling around a heavy lead-acid booster. The compact power bank runs on an internal LiFePO4 battery, a lithium iron phosphate cell that is far less sensitive to temperature swings and safer than common lithium-cobalt cells. With 400A starting current and 1200A peak current it starts petrol engines up to 7 litres and diesel engines up to 4.5 litres. Thanks to Rapid Recharge Technology the internal battery is fully charged again within 40 seconds once you connect it to the starter battery, and charging via the included USB cable works just as easily. A smart battery management system monitors over and under charging and protects against overheating and incorrect connection, backed by overvoltage protection, reverse polarity protection and a built in fuse. With a lifespan of 2000 charge cycles, four times longer than common lithium batteries, and a weight of just 0.8 kg, the IS1220 fits in any boot without hassle.

How to use

1. Connect the clamps to the battery (Red to the positive terminal, black to the negative terminal or chassis, watch the polarity carefully)

2. Switch on the main switch and start the engine (The built in overvoltage and reverse polarity protection kicks in on an incorrect connection)

3. Disconnect the clamps after starting (Black clamp first, then red, once the engine is running)

4. Recharge the IS1220 again (Within 40 seconds via the starter battery thanks to RRT, or steadily via the included USB cable)
