The Monti MBX sanding belt in black is the coarse option in the MBX belt system, built to remove material fast. The belt strips coatings, filler, old paint layers, and rust from thin steel body panels, including around rivets, without damaging the material underneath. Its flexible build follows curved and uneven surfaces, which makes it suitable for automotive, industrial, and restoration work. The belt comes in 23mm and 11mm widths and fits all Monti MBX tools. Each pack contains 5 belts.

Mount the sanding belt onto your Monti MBX tool. (Make sure the belt sits tight before you start working.)
Work off the coating, filler, or rust with the coarse black belt. (Follow up with a medium or fine belt for finishing.)
Replace the belt once the grit's effectiveness visibly drops. (A worn belt works less precisely and can remove more material than intended.)
Pair this belt with the Monti MBX Ultimate tool (works with both the 23mm and 11mm belts) and Colad nitrile gloves for a safe, efficient job.
