Bilt Hamber's Deox-Gel is a rust-dissolving gel for large, vertical or irregular metal surfaces. Its thick consistency clings in place without running, making it ideal for body panels, tools and machinery. The gel penetrates the rust and dissolves it without attacking the surrounding materials. No scrubbing needed: apply the gel, let it work, and rinse it off. Deox-Gel works without aggressive acids and is non-toxic. It can be used safely on painted surfaces, though a spot test on an inconspicuous area is recommended. Because it doesn't drip like a liquid, you can treat overhead or vertical rust spots without wasting product or making a mess.

How to use

1. Apply Deox-Gel evenly with a brush to the rusty surfaces, making sure the gel covers the whole area.

2. Let the gel work for at least a few minutes so it can penetrate and fully dissolve the rust.

3. Rinse the surface thoroughly with water once the rust has fully dissolved and no residue is left visible.

4. On painted surfaces, spot test an inconspicuous area first before treating a larger section, so you know the paint won't be damaged.

Wear chemical-resistant gloves while applying, and follow up with a degreaser such as D-CON Orange to remove any grease residue around the treated area.
