The Kovax Flexpad Sanding Paper Light Cut 2000 grit is self-adhesive wet sanding paper from the Hyper Flex Sanding System, with a flexible, multi-porous backing that conforms to uneven surfaces. With 2000 grit (green color code) you remove fine scratches, paint imperfections, and hazy or weathered headlights without leaving deep sanding marks. The uniform scratch pattern reduces the need for follow-up compounding, saving time in the final stage before polishing. The sheet sticks onto a sanding block with a peel-and-stick system and works wet, so keep plenty of water on hand. The pack contains 25 sheets, enough for several headlights or smaller panel repairs.

Wet the surface and the sanding sheet with water. (Wet sanding prevents overheating and keeps the scratch pattern fine.)
Stick the sheet onto your sanding block and sand with light pressure. (Work in straight, overlapping passes without increasing pressure.)
Rinse regularly and check your progress. (This lets you catch the right moment to move on to polishing.)
Pair it with a Mirka sanding block and follow up with the Koch-Chemie Headlight Restoration Kit for a glossy finish.
