Mirka Abranet Sanding Net P240 (50-pack)

The Mirka Abranet P240 is a sanding disc with an open mesh structure instead of traditional sandpaper. Because the whole disc is made from a net of abrasive material, dust is continuously carried away while you sand rather than building up on the surface. That keeps the disc cutting longer and prevents clogging, so you get noticeably more use out of the same disc compared with paper alternatives. Grit P240 is meant for medium sanding: refining filler and primer after the initial coarse pass. The flexible backing follows the contours of the panel, giving an even sanding pattern without smooth spots. Each pack contains 50 discs, ready to use on a sander or hand block with hook-and-loop attachment.

How to use

1. Attach the sanding disc to your sander or hand block using the hook-and-loop backing in the matching size.

2. Connect the sander to dust extraction so the mesh structure works at its best.

3. Sand with light, even pressure in overlapping passes for refining filler and primer after coarse sanding.

4. Check the surface regularly and clear away dust or water before moving on to P280 or P320 or your next step.

Continue after the first sanding pass with a Mirka DEROS 550CV sander and Bilt Hamber filler primer spray for a smooth follow-up.
