Mirka's Abranet Ace sanding net combines an open mesh structure with fine P600 grit, ideal as an intermediate step before polishing or to remove sanding marks left by a coarser grit. Because sanding dust is extracted evenly across the entire mesh instead of through a handful of holes, the net clogs far less than classic sandpaper. That means consistent cutting power for longer, and a noticeably cleaner workspace when paired with a vacuum sanding system.
The open structure keeps surface temperature lower, preventing overheating of both the net and the paint, important for fine sanding work where precision matters. Abranet Ace is the upgraded version of the original Abranet and lasts longer under comparable use. The net has a hook-and-loop backing and fits 150mm sanders with multi-hole extraction.
1 box with 50 sanding nets, 150mm diameter, P600 grit.
Open mesh structure extracts dust evenly across the entire surface, so you barely see a dust cloud while sanding
P600 grit is the fine step before polishing and removes light imperfections and marks left by a coarser grit
Clogs noticeably less than classic sandpaper, keeping cutting power consistent for longer over the entire lifespan of the net
Hook-and-loop backing fits directly onto 150mm sanders with a multi-hole extraction pattern, no extra adapters needed
Compatible with vacuum sanding systems, keeping your workspace clean and giving you a better view of the surface while sanding
Attach the sanding net to the backing pad of your orbital or DA sander (150mm, multi-hole) and line up the holes with the extraction pattern.
Connect the sander to a dust extractor or vacuum sanding system for the best result and a cleaner net.
Sand with light, even overlapping strokes and avoid pressing too hard. (P600 needs less pressure than a coarse grit, too much pressure wears the net out faster.)
Check the surface regularly between passes and only move on to polishing once all marks from the previous grit are gone. (Replace the net as soon as cutting power noticeably drops or the surface feels smoother for the same number of strokes.)
Follow up your sanding with a Krauss A75 polisher and a Chemical Guys Hex-Logic pad for a flawless finish.
