The Krauss KR-994 Power Dent S40 is a professional spot welding system built for fast, precise dent repair in the body shop. It runs on a 400V two-phase supply and delivers up to 4000A welding current at 16 kVA, enough power to pull dents without damaging the surrounding metal. Three preset programs (A, B, C) plus stepless weld time adjustment from 0 to 99 ms give you control over every job, from small hail damage to larger parking dents. The digital display constantly monitors mains voltage so every weld stays consistent. The trolley mount means you roll the unit anywhere in the shop instead of dragging cables across the floor. The kit includes a slide hammer, pull anchors, electrodes and wear parts, so you can start pulling dents without ordering separate accessories first. For body shops and PDR specialists working with varied dent types every day, this system is faster and more precise than fully manual dent pulling, without drilling, filling or repainting. The rugged trolley design is built for daily use in a professional workshop.
Complete kit with the trolley-mounted welding unit, slide hammer with pull anchors, electrodes, wear parts and a 400V connection cable.
Welding current up to 4000A at 16 kVA power for fast, targeted pull points without damaging the surrounding metal
3 preset programs (A/B/C) plus stepless weld time from 0-99 ms for exact control per panel thickness
Digital mains voltage monitoring prevents inconsistent welds, even with fluctuating shop power
Trolley mount for mobile use across the whole shop, no cables to drag across the floor
Supplied complete with slide hammer, pull anchors, electrodes and wear parts, ready to start without extra orders
Plug into a 400V two-phase supply and clamp the ground lead firmly to bare, degreased metal for reliable contact.
Select program A, B or C and set the weld time between 0 and 99 ms to match the panel thickness.
Position the welding electrode on the deepest point of the dent and trigger the pulse to firmly attach a pull anchor.
Draw the dent back evenly with the slide hammer, working around the edge until the panel sits flat, checking regularly by hand.
Pair it with the Krauss 8804 FN paint thickness gauge to check panel and coating thickness before and after the repair.
