Krauss Infrared Paint Dryer 200AX 2x1000W

This dual short-wave infrared lamp dries paint from the inside out over a larger area than a single lamp, ideal for hoods, doors and other bigger panels. Two 1000W heating elements, built with high-grade ruby-red quartz glass, give you an 800 by 800 mm drying area in one session. Through the Digital Control System you set heating power steplessly between 30 and 100 percent, while the electronic timer up to 99 minutes gives you full control over every drying cycle. The Pulse pre-drying function evaporates excess solvent before full heat starts, preventing bubbles in the coating, especially with a thicker filler layer. The aluminum locking system and individually adjustable lamp housing let you aim each lamp's radiation separately at irregular or wide surfaces. At 22 kg the dryer stands stable on its swivel casters with parking brake, and you roll it to the next workstation in the paint shop just as easily as the smaller 100AX.

How to use

1. Position the dryer in front of the panel and aim both lamps using the locking system (Keep the recommended distance for the 800 x 800 mm drying area)

2. Set the heating power between 30 and 100 percent depending on the coating (Start at a lower percentage for thicker filler or paint buildup)

3. Activate the Pulse function for pre-drying on fresh paint or filler (This evaporates solvent and lowers the risk of bubbling across the surface)

4. Set the timer up to 99 minutes and run the full drying cycle (Check the result at several spots across the panel)
