Krauss Infrared Paint Dryer 100AX 1000W

This short-wave infrared lamp dries paint from the inside out instead of just warming the surface, giving you a bubble-free, even result faster than plain air drying. The radiant tube is made from high-grade ruby-red quartz glass, which is pure and offers excellent heat transmission. Through the Digital Control System you set heating power steplessly between 30 and 100 percent, with an electronic timer up to 99 minutes for full control over every drying cycle. The separate Pulse pre-drying function evaporates excess solvent before you switch on full heat, which lowers the risk of bubbles in the coating. The aluminum locking system lets you align the lamp on the panel quickly and precisely, and the individually adjustable lamp housing gives you extra control over the angle. With a drying area of 800 by 450 mm, the 100AX is ideal for smaller repairs and spot repairs, and thanks to the swivel casters with parking brake you roll it straight to the next workstation in the paint shop.

How to use

1. Position the dryer at the panel and align the lamp using the aluminum locking system (Keep the recommended drying distance for the 800 x 450 mm area)

2. Set the heating power between 30 and 100 percent depending on the coating (Start at a lower percentage for thinner coats)

3. Activate the Pulse function for pre-drying on fresh paint or filler (This evaporates solvent and lowers the risk of bubbling)

4. Set the timer up to 99 minutes and run the full drying cycle (Check the result halfway through and adjust the setting if needed)
