B-TEC IR-X3 Short-Wave Infrared Dryer 3 Cassettes 230V

The B-TEC IR-X3 is a mobile short-wave infrared dryer with three cassettes, built for bodyshops and detailers who cure paint, primer and ceramic coatings professionally. The three short-wave IR cassettes deliver a combined 3,060W and cover a drying area of 100 x 80 cm per position. Short-wave IR penetrates deeper into the paint layer than medium-wave, resulting in faster and more uniform curing. The hydraulically locking arm adjusts continuously from 10 to 240 cm and holds at any height without slipping. A 10-metre cable gives enough freedom to move around the entire vehicle without changing outlets. The adjustable timer ensures reproducible drying cycles.

How to use

1. Position the IR-X3 next to the panel to dry (Roll the stand to the panel and adjust the arm to the desired height (10-240 cm). Lock it hydraulically so it holds position.)

2. Set the distance to 40-60 cm from the surface (Keep the cassettes 40-60 cm from the paint surface. Use a tape measure for ceramic coatings to avoid overheating.)

3. Set the timer (Use the drying time specified by your paint or coating manufacturer. For ceramic coatings, 3-8 minutes per panel is a common guideline.)

4. Move to the next panel after the cycle (Roll the IR-X3 to the next surface. The 10m cable and swivel castors make repositioning quick without swapping outlets.)
