Shiny Garage Double Sour Shampoo & Foam

Double Sour combines an acid car shampoo with an acid foam in a single formula. The pH of 5.5 breaks down baked on limescale and oxidation during the wash, while the paint itself stays protected thanks to the carefully chosen surfactants in the formula. That makes the product suitable for cars with a ceramic coating or sensitive paint as well, something stronger acid shampoos often put at risk over the longer term. Use Double Sour through a foam lance for a thick pre-wash foam, or diluted in a bucket for the contact wash with a wash mitt. The formula has a fresh, clean scent and rinses off easily without leaving streaks on the paint. Do not work in direct sunlight, so the product does not dry too fast and gets enough time to do its job. Available in 1 litre for occasional washers at home and 5 litres for anyone who washes regularly or runs a detailing business and needs more volume.

How to use

1. Dilute 20 to 50 ml of Double Sour per 10 litres of water in your foam lance or bucket, depending on how dirty the car is and how thick you want the foam. (Choose the higher dose for heavy limescale or oxidation on the paint.)

2. Apply it to a cool, dry car out of direct sunlight, so the formula does not dry too quickly on the surface.

3. Let it dwell for 1 to 2 minutes so the acid formula gets time to properly break down limescale and oxidation.

4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until all the foam is gone and dry the paint with a soft microfibre towel.
