Mavel Classic Plus 230V Cable Reel 10m

The Classic Plus is an automatic electric cable reel from Mavel, built for use in the garage and workshop. It holds 10 metres of 3 x 1.5mm² neoprene working cable plus a 2 metre connection cable, and delivers up to 2000 watts when fully unwound. The automatic spring mechanism rewinds the cable after use, so you never have to coil it by hand. The housing is IP24 splash-proof and includes overheat protection and a safety cut-out, with a child-safe socket at the end. You mount the reel to a wall or ceiling using the swivel bracket, which turns 180 degrees so you can always pull the cable out in the right direction. The built-in guide roller keeps the cable running smoothly in and out without kinking or jamming. That makes it easy to power a polisher, compressor or work light without extension cords trailing across the garage floor.

How to use

1. Mount the reel to a wall or ceiling with the included swivel bracket, turning it toward the direction you pull the cable most often.

2. Pull out the cable to the length you need, up to 10 metres of working cable, letting the built-in guide roller feed it smoothly.

3. Plug your equipment into the child-safe socket. Stay within the 2000W maximum when the cable is fully unwound, or the protection cuts in.

4. Let the cable spring back automatically into the housing after use, so nothing is left lying loose across the garage floor.

Power a work light, polisher or vacuum straight from it, without extension cords trailing across the workshop.
