Krauss R3 Mini Rotary Polisher

The Krauss R3 is a compact rotary polisher, ideal for small surfaces a full-size polisher cannot reach. In line with the Krauss No Swirls dual-action machines S08, S15 and S21, the R3 completes the range with a mini rotary machine for small and hard to reach spots. The 900W motor runs smoothly and starts with a soft-start, so you avoid flinging excess polish around the work area. Speed is adjustable from 700 to 2500 RPM, enough range to remove wash marks, scratches, swirls and holograms on rear bumpers, door sills, grilles and other small spots. A 75mm (or smaller) backing plate is ideal for this kind of precision work. The R3 is priced affordably without giving up motor power, and is used by both professionals and hobbyist detailers as a companion to a larger machine.

How to use

1. Wash and degrease the surface you are about to polish thoroughly and dry it fully before you start, leaving no dirt or residue behind.

2. Start at a low setting to spread the polish and gradually increase toward 2500 RPM for the correction stage.

3. Work in overlapping passes with even pressure and keep the machine constantly moving over the small spot to avoid overheating.

4. Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel and check the result in bright light before moving on.
