Fine finishing compound with carnauba wax, step 2 of the headlight polishing system
SKU: 407250
EAN: 4260188688063
After the coarse work with Headlight Polish 1, the headlight looks clear but not yet glossy. Koch Chemie Headlight Polish 2 is the fine finishing compound that completes this last step: it buffs away the remaining fine haze and, at the same time, applies a layer of carnauba wax that seals the headlight and protects it against new UV damage. Apply it with a polisher and a soft thermo pad or finishing pad, working in even, overlapping passes over the headlight lens. Because the formula is finer than that of Headlight Polish 1, no haze or cloudiness is left behind: the result is a clear, deep gloss comparable to a new headlight. The carnauba wax layer slows renewed yellowing, though periodic maintenance is still needed under heavy UV exposure. Work one small section at a time and buff away excess product straight away with a clean microfibre towel. Ideal as a finishing step after Headlight Polish 1, or as a stand-alone maintenance treatment on a headlight that is not yet badly yellowed.
1 x Koch Chemie Headlight Polish 2, 250 ml fine finishing compound with carnauba wax for the final polishing step
Buffs away fine haze for a clear, deep gloss on the headlight
Contains carnauba wax that seals the headlight against new UV yellowing
Works best with a soft thermo pad or finishing pad on a polisher
Step 2 of the Headlight Polish system, after the coarse work with Headlight Polish 1
Also suitable as a stand-alone maintenance treatment on lightly yellowed headlights
Check whether step 1 is needed (Make sure you have already treated the headlight with Headlight Polish 1, or that it is only lightly yellowed, otherwise the fine compound has too little to work on.)
Apply the compound to a soft pad (Dose a small amount onto a thermo pad or finishing pad and spread it evenly over the headlight lens.)
Polish to a high gloss (Work with the machine in overlapping passes until the fine haze disappears and a deep gloss appears, one small section at a time.)
Buff away the wax residue (Remove excess product with a clean microfibre towel so the carnauba wax layer looks clear and streak-free.)
For masking, applying, and buffing, 3M Masking Tape, the Koch Chemie Puck Hand Applicator, and a D-CON El Gordo microfibre towel come in handy too.
