Koch Chemie CES Ceramic Effect Shampoo 5L

Koch Chemie CES Ceramic Effect Shampoo is a pH 6.0 neutral car shampoo that deposits a fresh SiO2 care film over your coating with every wash. It progressively reinforces the water-repelling properties of a ceramic coating, quartz coating, wax or sealant without attacking the surface.

How it works

The mildly acidic pH of 6.0 is compatible with all common protective layers. The SiO2 top-up per wash builds up cumulatively: after a single wash with CES, the hydrophobic effect of your coating stays active for another 4 to 6 washes, even if you use a mild shampoo in between. A 5-litre bottle yields approximately 100 to 166 washes at a dose of 30 to 50 ml.

How to use

1. Pre-rinse the car with water or apply a snow foam pre-wash first (Remove loose grit and dirt to prevent scratching during the wash)

2. Fill a bucket with 13 L of water and add 30 ml of CES; use a second bucket with clean rinse water (The two-bucket method keeps your wash bucket cleaner and reduces scratch risk on paint and coating)

3. Wash section by section with a wash mitt from top to bottom; rinse the mitt regularly in the rinse bucket (Do not use on warm paintwork or in direct sunlight; work in the shade when possible)

4. Rinse the car thoroughly with clean water and dry immediately with a microfibre towel (Dry quickly to prevent water spots on the coating; wash microfibre towels separately from other laundry)
