Grit Guard Washboard Insert for Wash Bucket (Black)

The Grit Guard Washboard is a vertically ribbed insert for your wash bucket that lets you scrub dirt and loose particles out of your wash mitt, sponge or brush before you go back into the suds. That dirt then sinks to the bottom of the bucket, where the Grit Guard Insert (sold separately) traps it and keeps it separated from your mitt. This stops you from dragging loosened dirt particles back across the paint and reduces the risk of swirls and scratches while washing. The Washboard fits the most common 3.5, 4.5 and 5 gallon wash buckets and is resistant to shampoo and other cleaning chemicals. Supplied without bucket and without Grit Guard Insert.

How to use

1. Place the Washboard in your wash bucket, along with the Grit Guard Insert at the bottom.

2. Scrub your wash mitt, sponge or brush over the ribs of the Washboard.

3. Rinse the mitt or dip it back into the suds for the next wash pass.

4. Repeat this every time before you go back into the bucket.
