D-CON Hexagon LED Light System

Good lighting is the silent foundation behind every strong detailing result. The D-CON Hexagon LED Light System brings professional, even illumination to your detail studio or workshop with a honeycomb design spanning 2400 mm by 4800 mm. The hexagonal panels distribute light across the entire vehicle so that shadow zones are minimal, even in corners and on curved bodywork panels.

The system is supplied complete with frame and dimmer, so you can get straight to work. The dimmer offers four settings: 0%, 40%, 70% and 100%. This gives you full control over light intensity for every task, from initial inspection to colour assessment during coating application. Low energy consumption and minimal heat output make extended work comfortable. The hexagonal design also gives your studio a distinctive, recognisably professional look.

How to use

1. Check the load capacity and clearance height of the ceiling before mounting. (The system with frame spans 2400 x 4800 mm. Ensure the ceiling structure can support the weight. Consult a contractor if in doubt.)

2. Attach the included frame to the ceiling above the vehicle. (Centre the hexagonal panels above the vehicle. Use appropriate anchors for the ceiling material.)

3. Connect the dimmer to the mains supply. (Follow D-CON's instructions. Mount the dimmer on the wall at a reachable height, ideally close to the workstation.)

4. Set the dimmer to the appropriate intensity for the task. (40% for initial inspection, 70% for polishing and cleaning, 100% for colour assessment, paint evaluation and coating application.)

Pair the Hexagon LED Light System with the Scangrip Wheelstand for targeted lighting on wheel work, or add the Colad UV Lamp for coating curing.
