D-CON Chrome & Metal Polish 500ml

D-CON Chrome & Metal Polish is a comprehensive metal polish for chrome, aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised metal. The formula removes deposits, oxidation, heat-induced bluing and light rust spots, then leaves a mirror shine on the surface. You can apply it by hand with a microfibre cloth or applicator, or via a polishing machine.

Typical uses include exhaust tips (heat bluing), Alcoa wheels, chrome bumpers, aluminium tanks and aluminium trim. Apply a small amount, work in with circular motions and buff off with a clean dry cloth. Repeat for stubborn spots. For deep oxidation on chrome it is wise to test on a small area first. 500ml for dozens of treatments.

How to use

1. Clean the metal surface and remove loose dirt (Use a clay bar if needed to lift embedded contamination. A clean surface gives the polish the best grip on oxidation and deposits.)

2. Apply a small amount of polish on a microfibre cloth or applicator (Less is more. A thin layer works more efficiently than a large amount in one pass.)

3. Work in with circular motions and allow to dwell (Apply slightly more pressure for heat bluing on exhaust tips. Dwell time depends on the degree of oxidation.)

4. Buff off with a clean dry microfibre cloth (Repeat steps 2-4 for stubborn spots or deeper oxidation.)
