Chemical Guys HydroShield Ceramic Trim & Vinyl Coating

Chemical Guys HydroShield is a ceramic coating for rubber, plastic and vinyl that leaves behind a deep black color and intense gloss. The hydrophobic SiO2 formula repels water and UV rays, keeping treated parts protected against fading and weathering for up to 12 months.

Thanks to the stick-on formula, HydroShield stays exactly where you apply it, even on parts subject to friction and movement like tires. Shake the bottle well before use, apply the product to a clean surface with an applicator, and buff with a microfiber towel so no residue is left behind.

HydroShield is suited for both interior and exterior trim, from side skirts and bumper trim to interior door handles. For extra depth and longer-lasting protection, you can apply a second coat once the first has fully dried.

How to use

1. Shake the bottle well before use. (This remixes the ceramic particles evenly into the formula for a consistent result.)

2. Clean the surface thoroughly and let it dry completely. (Grease, dust or old product residue can interfere with how the coating bonds.)

3. Apply HydroShield with an applicator in a thin, even layer. (Work in small sections so you can spread the product evenly.)

4. Buff with a clean microfiber towel for a residue-free result. (Let the layer dry fully before applying any optional second coat.)

Reach tight corners with detailing swabs, buff off with a black microfiber towel for tires and rubber, decontaminate first with a clay bar, and pair it with a ceramic wheel coating for a uniform look.
