NOCO Boost X GBX55 Lithium Jump Starter 12V 1750A

The NOCO Boost X GBX55 is a portable lithium jump starter for 12V batteries, with 1750 A peak current and an internal 46 Wh lithium-ion battery. NOCO quotes engines up to 7.5 liters gasoline and up to 5.0 liters diesel. If you have a bigger engine, look at the GBX75 or GBX155. Charging runs over USB-C Power Delivery: at 60 W it is full in 1.2 hours. The same USB-C port also works as an output up to 60 W, so you can power a laptop or phone from it. It also has a USB output of 5V 2.1 A and a 200-lumen LED flashlight. UltraSafe 2.0 provides spark-free connection, reverse polarity protection and a 60-second timeout. With IP65 (ports closed), an operating range of -20 to +50 °C and 1.17 kg, you can take it anywhere.

How to use

1. Check that the vehicle has a 12V battery and that the engine falls within the stated size (Gasoline up to 7.5 liters, diesel up to 5.0 liters. It must be a 12V system.)

2. Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal and the black clamp to the negative terminal of the battery (UltraSafe 2.0 is spark-free and protects against reverse polarity. Still, always check the markings.)

3. Start the engine (UltraSafe 2.0 has a 60-second timeout. If the start does not work, switch the unit off and on again for a new attempt.)

4. Remove the black clamp first, then the red one, and recharge the booster via USB-C (At 60 W, charging takes 1.2 hours. Charge it within 0 to +40 °C.)
