The Grit Guard 5 gallon bucket is the industry standard for hand washing with the two-bucket method. The Heavy Duty ABS plastic is noticeably thicker and more rigid than budget detailing buckets that warp after a season. At 19 liters there is ample capacity to rinse the wash mitt without the water getting dirty too fast. Stackable and fully compatible with the Grit Guard accessory system: insert, dolly, and lid are sold separately. This is the plain version without branding or sticker, for those who prefer to label or color-code their own buckets.

How to use

1. Fill the bucket with clean water and the right shampoo dose (For the two-bucket method: use this bucket as the wash bucket and a second bucket as the rinse bucket.)

2. Optionally place a Grit Guard insert at the bottom (The insert traps sand and grit so they do not swirl back up when you rinse the mitt.)

3. Rinse the wash mitt after each panel in the rinse bucket (Drag the mitt across the Grit Guard grid to dislodge contaminants.)

Add the Grit Guard bucket insert for maximum contaminant separation in the two-bucket wash routine.
