100 stainless steel replacement blades for Stanley glass scraper model 0-28-500
SKU: 23030
EAN: 676713138615
The Stanley replacement blades are designed specifically for the Stanley professional glass scraper model 0-28-500. The blades are made of stainless steel and resist water and cleaning fluids. They remove stickers, vinyl, film and adhesive residue from glass without scratching, as long as you keep the blade held as flat as possible against the surface.
The bulk pack of 100 blades is ideal for detailers, window fitters and workshops that replace blades frequently. Stainless steel gives a longer blade life compared to standard steel. On curved glass take extra care with the blade angle. Always wear gloves when changing blades to stay safe.
100 stainless steel replacement blades compatible with Stanley glass scraper model 0-28-500, packed in a protective carton box.
100 blades per pack, always a sharp blade ready at the workstation or in the vehicle
Stainless steel, resistant to water, glass cleaner and adhesive removers without corrosion
Exact fit for Stanley glass scraper model 0-28-500, quick blade change without tools
Removes stickers, vinyl, film and adhesive residue from glass without scratching at correct angle
Bulk pack stored in protective carton, safe to keep alongside the scraper at all times
Open the lock on the Stanley glass scraper model 0-28-500. (Wear cut-resistant gloves. Carefully slide out the used blade and place it in a sharps-safe container.)
Slide a new blade into the scraper until it locks in place. (Verify the blade is firmly seated before starting work. A loose blade gives uneven results.)
Hold the blade nearly parallel to the glass and work in short, controlled strokes. (A flat angle (approx. 30 degrees) prevents scratching. On curved glass work in small sections. Wet stickers are easier to remove.)
Remove adhesive residue after peeling off the sticker or film. (Use an adhesive remover to soften the remaining glue before running the blade over it. Clean the glass with a glass cleaner afterwards.)
Use the blades alongside D-CON Glue & Label Remover to pre-soak adhesive, Bilt Hamber Traceless Glass Cleaner for a streak-free finish, and a D-CON waffle-weave glass towel for the final polish.
