NOCO Genius2D Direct-Mount Battery Charger 12V 2A

The NOCO GENIUS2D is a fixed maintenance charger for vehicles that sit for long periods. Mount it once close to the battery in your car, boat, truck, camper or machine and forget about it. With 2A (max 28W) it charges 12V lead-acid batteries up to 40Ah, such as flooded, gel, MF, CA, EFB and AGM, and it can stay connected 24/7. Thermal compensation adapts charging to the temperature and the charger protects against reverse polarity, with an LED as temperature indication. The housing is IP65 and weighs 0.23 kg. A mounting bracket, strap and two self-tapping screws are included. The cables have eyelets for the battery terminals. Efficiency is about 87%. It charges batteries from just 1V and runs on 100-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz. That keeps the battery of a car, boat or camper healthy through the winter.

How to use

1. Choose a location close to your battery (car, boat, camper) (Use the included mounting bracket and strap. Screw it securely with the self-tapping #8 x 1 inch screws.)

2. Connect the DC cable to your battery (Red (plus) to positive terminal, black (minus) to negative. Check that the eyelets are firmly attached.)

3. Plug the AC adapter into the socket (The LED shows the temperature indication. GENIUS2D now automatically charges the battery as needed.)

4. Leave it plugged in and forget about it (Your battery stays topped up. It can stay connected 24/7 and the back-current drain is below 0.5 mA.)
