Koch Chemie Heavy Cut Polish Pad

The Koch Chemie Heavy Cut Polish Pad 45 mm is a compact heavy cut foam pad for scratch removal in areas larger pads cannot reach. The 45 mm diameter is ideal for spot corrections on mirrors, bumper corners and trim strips, without risking edge contact with adjacent plastic.

The advanced pad structure distributes compounds evenly across the pad surface so abrasive action stays consistent without hot spots. Compatible with rotary and DA polishers via hook-and-loop. Available in four sizes: 45, 80, 130 and 150 mm.

How to use

1. Attach the 45 mm pad to the correct backing plate (Use a 40-45 mm backing plate. Clean hook-and-loop gives best grip.)

2. Apply a half pea-sized amount of compound (About 0.5 ml is enough. Spread across the pad before starting the machine.)

3. Polish in overlapping passes at moderate speed (Light pressure, pad flat on the paint. Check after each pass.)

4. Remove compound residue and assess the result (Wipe with a microfibre towel. Inspect under a detail lamp to confirm the scratch is gone.)

Use this pad with Koch Chemie Heavy Cut H9.02 polish, a Liquid Elements T4200 polisher for the machine, and the Koch Chemie Micro Cut Polish Pad 45 mm for the finishing step on those same tight spots.
