Koch Chemie SO.02 Spray Sealant is a quick sealing spray that protects your paint with gloss and a water-beading effect. You spray once or twice onto clean, dry paint, let it flash off briefly and buff it with a clean microfiber cloth. The result is a velvety surface with visible colour deepening. You will find the Koch Chemie SO.02 Spray Sealant in the shop.
What SO.02 does
A spray sealant quickly lays a thin protective layer on your paint, in between a full wax or coating. Koch Chemie states that SO.02 gives a velvety surface and a clearly visible colour deepening, with a nice water-beading effect. It is meant for painted surfaces on cars, commercial vehicles and motorcycles; the official datasheet does not mention glass or wheels.
How to use it
Shake the bottle. Shake SO.02 well before use.
On clean, dry paint. Spray once or twice onto a clean and dry panel, and work panel by panel.
Let it flash off. Give it a short flash-off time, but do not let it fully dry.
Buff off. Buff all residue away with a clean microfiber cloth until the surface is clear and glossy.
What to watch for
Apply SO.02 to dry paint, not a wet surface, and work panel by panel so nothing dries in. Koch Chemie advises not washing the treated vehicle with chemicals the same day. If you want protection that you apply over water instead, look at the guide on the D-CON Lightning Wet Coat. You will find more spray sealants and quick detailers in the sealants and quick detailers category.
See it applied
In this official Koch Chemie video you see how to apply and buff the spray sealant. Handy to see the pace and the thin layer.
