D-CON Lightning Wet Coat is a spray coating that you apply over water: after washing you spray it onto the wet paint and rinse straight off. No buffing or curing time is needed. The result is instant gloss and extreme water repellency. You will find the D-CON Lightning Wet Coat in the shop.
What Wet Coat does
Where a quick detailer or spray sealant is buffed onto dry paint, Wet Coat works the other way around: you apply it in the wet phase of the wash and rinse it off. In a few minutes you lay a protective layer with slickness and strong water repellency, without a separate dry-and-buff step. You use it as quick protection on its own, or as a maintenance layer between full waxes and coatings.
How to use it
Wash thoroughly. Wash the car and leave the surface wet.
Spray onto wet paint. Spray Wet Coat directly onto the wet surface, or into the water stream of your hose or pressure washer.
Do not let it cure. Do not let it dry; work straight on.
Rinse and dry immediately. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a microfiber drying towel.
Quick detailer, ceramic QD or spray sealant

What to watch for
The secret is in the timing: apply while the paint is still wet and do not let it dry. D-CON lists Wet Coat as suitable for glass, paint and plastic.
