What Top Star does
Top Star cares for and protects plastic and rubber in one action. The emulsion lays down a thin, satin-matt protective film that makes the parts look cared for without making them shiny or sticky. The UV protection counters discolouring and fading from the sun, and the antistatic effect makes dust stick less quickly, so the dashboard stays clean for longer. Special active ingredients keep the plastic supple, which helps prevent drying out and small cracks over time.
Why you care for plastic
Untreated plastic and rubber dry out over time from heat and sunlight, discolour and start to look dull and grey. By caring for your interior regularly you keep the material supple and the colour deep, so your car looks like new inside for longer. A thin layer of Top Star after cleaning protects against that ageing and also makes the dashboard easier to keep clean: thanks to the antistatic effect dust sticks less quickly and you simply wipe it off next time. How to use it
Clean the surface first. A dressing only bonds and protects well on a clean surface, so remove dust and dirt from the dashboard and the panels before you start.
Spray a small amount of Top Star onto an application sponge, not directly onto the panel. That keeps overspray off your windows and spreads the product more evenly.
Apply the product with the sponge in a thin, even layer to the dashboard, the door panels, the consoles and the rubber parts. Work panel by panel.
Let Top Star dwell briefly, about half a minute to a minute, and then buff off with a dry microfiber cloth. That gives you an even, satin-matt finish without streaks or greasy patches.
A natural, matt look
Where some cockpit sprays give a greasy, mirror-like shine, Top Star leaves a natural, satin-matt look. Your dashboard looks cared for and even, but not shiny, which many people find more pleasant and which also gives fewer reflections in the windscreen.
