The Koch Chemie Pol Star is a pH-neutral interior cleaner that is safe on leather, alcantara, upholstery and carpet. You dilute it to the level of soiling, from 1:5 for heavy dirt to 1:20 for light maintenance, apply it with a sprayer or foamer, let it dwell briefly and work the dirt in with a sponge or interior brush. Then you wipe the residue with a damp microfiber cloth or extract it with a wet-dry vacuum. What Pol Star does
Pol Star loosens dirt, grease and everyday grime without attacking the sensitive materials in your interior. Because the cleaner is pH-neutral, it is mild enough for leather and alcantara yet effective on upholstery and carpet. It leaves no white edges or water stains on the upholstery, which happens with many cleaners. How to use it
Dilute Pol Star to the soiling: about 1:5 for heavy dirt and up to 1:20 for light maintenance, in a sprayer or pump foamer. Measure the ratio instead of guessing.
Apply the solution to the surface, not too wet. On upholstery and carpet you spray a light layer, on leather and alcantara you work specifically on the dirty spots.
Let the product dwell briefly and work the dirt in with an interior brush, a sponge or a clean microfiber cloth. That releases the loosened dirt from the fibres and seams.
Wipe the residue with a damp, clean microfiber cloth, or on upholstery and carpet extract it with a wet-dry vacuum. Then let the surface dry well.
Dilute to the soiling
The strength of Pol Star is that you match it to the job. For a heavily soiled seat or a dirty mat you use a stronger dilution around 1:5, for regularly maintaining a tidy interior 1:20 is plenty. That way you never use more product than needed and a bottle lasts a long time. When in doubt, start with a lighter dilution and make it stronger if the dirt calls for it; that is the most economical and the safest for sensitive materials.
