After a season of road trips, your camper collects a unique mix of road grime, insect residue, tree sap and interior wear that regular cleaning barely touches. Campers and motorhomes also have materials you will not find in a car, including GRP panels, rubber seals, acrylic windows and specialised interior fabrics that all need careful handling.

At T&H Car Care in Borne, we clean campers and motorhomes inside and out using products and techniques suited to each material. We treat the exterior bodywork, wheels and roof, then move inside to clean upholstery, kitchen surfaces, wet rooms and every storage compartment. Awning cleaning is available too.

Our Method

Inspection & Treatment Plan

We begin with a thorough inspection of the camper or caravan. We assess the condition of the exterior (paint, gelcoat, plastic parts), the interior (upholstery, kitchen, sanitary facilities) and any specific areas of concern. Based on this, we create a customised treatment plan.

Exterior Cleaning & Hand Wash

The exterior is thoroughly cleaned: first a pre-wash to loosen heavy dirt and green algae, followed by a scratch-free hand wash with pH-neutral shampoo. Wheels, bumpers, trim strips, windows and all plastic parts are treated separately. For aluminium or gelcoat surfaces, we use specific products.

Polishing & Roof Treatment

For dull or weathered paint, we machine-polish the exterior to restore the gloss. The roof is treated separately — on campers, this is an often-neglected area. Green algae, moss and stubborn stains on the roof are thoroughly removed.

Interior Deep Cleaning

The interior is fully vacuumed and then treated with steam cleaning. All upholstery, curtains, mattresses, sofas, carpet and worktops are cleaned and disinfected. Sanitary areas and wet rooms are thoroughly sanitised and descaled.

Detail Finishing & Protection

Dashboard, cupboards, table and all surfaces are cleaned and protected. External plastic parts are nourished and protected against UV greying. If desired, we apply a coating or sealant to the exterior for long-lasting protection against weather conditions.

Yes, we offer on-site service. This is ideal for larger campers and caravans that are difficult to transport. We come to your home, the campsite or a storage location in the Twente region. Contact us for options and any additional costs.

We recommend at least twice a year: a thorough cleaning before the season (spring) and an aftercare treatment at the end of the season (autumn) before the camper goes into winter storage. With intensive use, more frequent cleaning may be desirable.

Yes, the roof is one of the most neglected parts and accumulates a lot of green algae, moss and bird droppings. We clean the roof thoroughly and can optionally polish and protect it with a coating for long-lasting results.

Depending on the size of the camper or caravan and the chosen package, the treatment takes half a day to a full working day. A compact camper van is finished faster than a large integrated motorhome. We take the time needed for a perfect result.

Yes, our interior cleaning includes all sanitary areas (shower, toilet, washbasin) being thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and descaled. The kitchen, including hob, worktop, fridge and cupboards, is also cleaned and disinfected.

Absolutely. Polishing restores the gloss of dull or weathered paint and gelcoat. A coating provides long-lasting protection against UV radiation, rain, dirt and green algae. We particularly recommend a coating for campers that spend a lot of time outdoors.
