D-CON Crazy Wool Polijstpad 5 inch 140mm

The D-CON Crazy Wool Polishing Pad in 100% wool measures 140mm (5 inch). Wool builds up more heat through friction than foam, allowing abrasives in compound to cut faster and deeper. Right for heavy paint correction: deep scratches, swirl marks, oxidation and fresh colour sanding. The velcro backing fits any 5 inch plate. Always follow up with a softer finishing pad to remove holograms.

Why this product

How to use

1. Attach the wool pad to a 5 inch backing plate (Press firmly onto the velcro plate of the DA machine.)

2. Apply 3 to 4 drops of heavy cut compound to the pad (Place the pad gently on the paint before switching on to spread product evenly.)

3. Start at speed 1-2 to distribute, then increase to 4-5 for correction (Work in sections of 40x40 cm.)

4. Wipe residue and follow up with a finishing pad (Use a softer pad with fine polish to remove holograms and bring paint to gloss.)

Combine the Crazy Wool Pad with Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 1000 for maximum scratch removal, the D-CON Delta Pro Finishing Pad Yellow 150mm for the finishing phase and Chemical Guys Polishing Pad Conditioner to prime the pad before use.
