D-CON Snow Foam is a contactless pre-wash snow foam that you apply with a foam lance or foam gun. The thick foam soaks off loose dirt, dust and salt before you touch the paint, so you make fewer scratches while washing. You dilute the concentrate about 1:10 in lukewarm water. You will find the D-CON Snow Foam in the shop.
What Snow Foam does
Snow foam is the first step of a safe wash. A thick, clinging foam layer softens loose dirt and rinses most of it away, before your wash mitt touches the surface. D-CON states that the formula is pH-balanced and does not remove your wax, sealant or coating; it even contains gloss enhancers that maintain the layer.
How to use it
Dilute. Mix about 90 ml of Snow Foam with 900 ml of lukewarm water in the foam lance (about 1:10).
Apply. Apply the foam from bottom to top with a pressure washer of at least 130 bar.
Let it dwell. Let the foam dwell for a few minutes, but do not let it dry.
Rinse off. Rinse the foam and the soaked-off dirt thoroughly, then move on to the hand wash.
What to watch for
Snow foam is a pre-wash, not a replacement for the hand wash: after rinsing you still wash with shampoo and the two-bucket method. Read more about the technique in the guide how to use snow foam. You will find more pre-wash products in the snow foam and pre-wash category.
