About this service
Unprotected paint is vulnerable to everything the road throws at it. Rain, road salt, bird droppings, tree sap and UV radiation all attack your clear coat over time, leading to dullness and eventually permanent damage. A quality wax layer creates a sacrificial barrier that keeps your paint looking its best.
At T&H Car Care in Borne, we offer both synthetic sealant for reliable short-term protection and premium carnauba wax for a warm, deep gloss that lasts up to twelve months. Before applying any protection, we ensure the surface is properly decontaminated and prepped so the wax bonds effectively.
Drivers from Tubbergen, Hengelo and throughout Twente regularly visit us for seasonal paint protection. It is one of the most cost-effective ways to maintain your car's appearance and protect its resale value year-round.

Step by step
We assess the condition of your paint for contaminants, oxidation and any damage. The car is thoroughly washed using the two-bucket method to remove all dirt and residue before the wax is applied.
After washing, the paint is treated with a specialist degreaser to remove any remaining silicones, wax residue and grease film. This ensures the wax bonds optimally to a clean, pure paint surface.
When the paint feels rough due to iron fallout, tar or industrial contamination, we apply a clay bar treatment. The clay removes embedded contaminants that washing alone cannot reach, leaving the surface silky smooth.
The wax is applied in thin, even layers using a soft applicator or machine. For synthetic wax, one layer is sufficient. For carnauba wax, we typically apply two layers for maximum protection and depth of gloss.
After curing, the wax is buffed out with clean microfibre cloths to a deep, warm shine. We inspect every panel for evenness and completeness. Windows, rubber and plastic trim are kept clean throughout the process.
