The D-CON Crazy Wool Pad 150 mm is built from twisted wool fibres with a 1.5 inch pile that delivers aggressive cutting power against deep swirls, scratches and oxidised paint where foam pads fall short. Wool generates more heat than foam, activating heavy-cut compounds faster.
The Surlyn backing adds rigidity under pressure on curved panels. Hook-and-loop attachment fits any 6-inch (150 mm) backing plate. Works with rotary and DA polishers. Clean the pad every 2 to 3 panels to prevent buildup.

Attach the pad to a 6-inch backing plate via hook-and-loop (Keep the plate clean and dry for solid grip)
Apply 4 to 6 dots of heavy-cut compound onto the pad (Spread against the panel before switching on)
Polish in overlapping passes at 1,200 to 1,800 rpm (rotary) or setting 3-4 (DA) (Work 40x40 cm sections)
Clean the pad every 2 to 3 panels with a stiff brush (Low speed; press a brush against the wool to clear compound)
Pair this wool pad with Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 1000 for maximum cutting power, a Liquid Elements T4200 orbital polisher as your machine, and the D-CON Delta Pro Finishing Pad Yellow 150 mm for the finishing step.
